Who is your typical customer?

Our customer base is rather diverse. Geographically, we have customers in 25 countries, and the fastest growing base is in the United States. Our customers include most of the “big players”, but we also cherish our relationships with small to mid-size organizations.

Do you specialize in Orthopedics?

Yes, we are 100% dedicated to Orthopedics. We cover all areas of the orthopedic industry such as Spine, Recon, Trauma, and Extremities.

Are you ISO certified or FDA registered?dics?

What do you mean by “One-Stop-Shop”?

The short answer : We have the ability to handle your projects from A-to-Z.

We take pride in our strong background in Orthopedics which allows us to jump on-board a project anywhere from early stage concept development to the machining of your final design, all the way to kitting, dock-to-stock etc

How long have you been in Business?

In’Tech Medical was founded 15 years ago by two industry veterans who used their reservoir of experience and manufacturing expertise to build a customer-centered organization, where the goal is not only to produce what the market needs, but also to anticipate new trends and constantly propose custom solutions.

Do you have Prorietary designs and or Instruments?

Yes! In an effort to anticipate our customer’s needs, we have developed a line of proprietary turnkey designs that are available for our clients to use off-the-shelf or customize to their specifications. Products such as the MIS retractor can be found on the site.

How can I customize your proprietary instruments?

The process is very straightforward as our “off-the-shelf” designs are engineered for customization. First, you would contact us to share your specific design requirements (implant interface, surgical technique etc.) relative to one of our products. After studying feasibility, we will provide you with a quote for design and delivery of tailor-designed instrument. Once the print is approved, we can follow the regular build-to-print / contract-manufacturing process.

Can I visit your facility?

You are cordially invited to complete your In’Tech Medical experience by taking a tour of our plants in Athens, Alabama, Memphis, Tennessee or in France. You will hear and see just what goes into the manufacturing of the instruments that we proudly produce each day. Just contact us and we will make it happen.

How long does it take for you to get back to us with a quote?

Depending on the complexity of the project, anywhere from 48 hours to 2 weeks for projects that include an R&D component.

What are typical manufacturing lead-times?

The company is constantly investing to accelerate lead times. Right now, the lead time is 4 to 8 weeks for working prototypes and off the shelf designs and 8 to 12 weeks on production.

How long does it take to ship instruments overseas?

We are ideally positioned for fast shipping at our US offices in Memphis, TN (Fedex Hub). Our shipping lead time can be as short as 24 hours.

What does your Tagline “Manufacturing Solutions” mean?

This is very important, because it describes a unique characteristic of the organization, which is that in addition to being a contract manufacturer; we are also an R&D organization. Our engineering team partners with our clients to provide technical solutions to custom challenges. Our ability to solve complicated problems for our clients is definitely a differentiating factor.

Are your instruments covered by 510(k) or CE mark ? Do you sell your off-the-shelf products as an OEM?

At this time, we do not release products to the market as an OEM. However, we are planning to sell off-the-shelf system as an OEM in 2015.
